The Romans

There has been lots of super topic work this term. We’ve enjoyed all your pictures and updates. In the last few weeks there have been some interesting discoveries during daily walks:

Aoife spotted what looks like Roman numerals carved into a wall. After his learning this week she was able to work out what these Roman numerals stand for. Super work Aoife!

Amber walked under a viaduct on her daily walk and also went to the Kinneil Estate where you can see an example of Antonine Wall fortlet remains still visible today. She was very impressed to live so close to this.

Alfie and Callum visited the Roman Fort at Cramond. I’m sure Callum remembered this trip well from he was in my P4 class, lovely to go back and share his learning with his brother.

Well done everyone.
