Primary 7 have had afun week. A group of pupils planned and prepared an art lesson and delivered it to the class in Spanish! This was so much fun because we learned both Spanish and painting techniques!
We continued our WWII topic by making a Wartime short advert to outline an aspect of the war. We have all been really engaged in the activity and even brought in our own props and costumes. In addition, we carried out a STEM challenge to make a home-made switch for a circuit that could be used to send Morse Code messages. We worked together to problem solve.
In maths, we have continued with problem solving and have been applying a range of strategies. Our ‘Number Talks’ sessions are up and running and we are working hard to improve our mental agility.
In literacy, we have been learning about making inferences when reading a text and for writing, we are re-telling a Fairytale in Scots!
