Primary 7 have had an amazing week with the highlight being or visit from Homefront Histories on Wednesday. We spent the morning looking at a wide range of WWII artifacts and working our way around activity stations. In the afternoon, we carried out incendiary bomb training, sounded an air-raid siren and learned songs and army drills. The visit really enhanced our learning and allowed us to explore in more detail what life was like during the Second World War. In maths we have been revising division and learning about factors and prime numbers. In Literacy we have written a review of our visit and recorded facts for future reference. We have also been working hard to learn our song for the Burns day celebration and can’t wait to share this with you next week.
